Irvin Learning Farm & Nature Center: Where We Are Located
Irvin Learning Farm & Nature Center is located just 5 miles south of Carrboro and Chapel Hill. It is sited on the Irvin Farm Preserve, 269 acres of pasture, forest and wetlands, preserved by The Triangle Land Conservancy (2912B Jones Ferry Road, Chapel Hill, NC, 27516)
Directions from Carrboro/Chapel Hill:
Take W. Main Street south out of Carrboro.
Stay straight to go onto Jones Ferry Road
Go 4.3 miles on Jones Ferry.
You'll know you are close when you see a bright yellow mailbox on the left marked 2912 Jones Ferry Road. We are the NEXT drive on the left, clearly posted with an Irvin Learning Farm sign.
Come up the drive to the fork and take the left fork which brings you directly to the learning farm parking area.
Directions from downtown Pittsboro:
Take US 15-501 North for 9.9 miles.
Turn left onto Smith Level Road. Go 1.6 miles.
Turn left onto Damascus Church Road. Go 3.9 miles.
Turn left onto Jones Ferry Road. Go 0.9 miles.

Directions from Hillsborough:
Take Old NC-86 south from Hillsborough. Go 8.7 miles.
Old NC-86 becomes Hillsborough Road.
Stay straight to go onto Fayetteville Road. Go 2.2 miles.
Turn right onto Jones Ferry Road. Go 3.3 miles.
